Your opinions, thoughts and ideas, have been critical in helping to shape the Godley Green masterplan. Further opportunities to get involved will be provided through the process.
We held open community sessions on Wednesday 24th March at 2pm and Thursday 25th March at 6pm to share the feedback received so far and to discuss how this is helping to shape the emerging masterplan proposals.
A recording of the consultation has been made available online for those who were unable to attend the sessions.
The formal pre-application stage of consultation closed at 5pm on the 6th April 2021. It was run by Kevin Murray Associates on behalf of Tameside Council. All feedback responses received before this date have been incorporated into the Statement of Community Involvement which accompanies the Planning Application.

If you would like to share a comment or idea with the Godley Green team, please submit a comment in the box below. Please note, this is not a formal response to the planning application.
Unfortunately the Council does not have the resources to respond to all of the individual comments or queries but this will be monitored closely, responding via the FAQ's where appropriate, and regular updates will be provided as the project progresses.
We acknowledge that there are respondents who wish to object to the principle and not participate in these matters of detail. A full opportunity to do so will be avalible during the statutory consultation period run by the Local Planning Authority.
